Wheel is an HR tech product focused on improving how candidates and employers connect in a mobile-first environment.
The platform aims to move beyond traditional resume-based hiring by prioritizing soft skills, personal values, and communication style.
The product vision was to create a more human and structured hiring process — one where candidates are matched not only by experience, but by alignment with company culture and expectations.

Problem
The current interface creates critical friction for users due to inactive buttons, broken navigation, and the inability to manually enter data when LinkedIn imports fail.
A redesign was triggered by visual inconsistencies and technical gaps—such as mismatched styles and layout errors—that disrupted the user journey and hindered a seamless job application process.

We developed a streamlined cross-platform experience that simplifies job searching through an intuitive interface and a unique matching logic centered on soft skills and video responses.
By fixing navigation gaps, enabling manual data entry, and refining visual consistency across both mobile and desktop, we created a balanced ecosystem that offers accessibility for candidates and scalable, structured workflows for employers

The employer version was designed as a light-themed desktop web application, aligning with the client’s preference and ensuring clarity and readability across data-heavy dashboards and candidate management workflows.

UI components across the product. Defined interaction states ensure predictable behavior
and a cohesive experience, while the structured component library supports efficient scaling
