Wireframes
Before any visual design, we mapped every core screen and flow — search or scan a product, land on its risk-score result card, drill into the full ingredient breakdown (hazardous / moderate / low risk), build a scanning history, and add a product manually when there's no barcode or photo match — plus the surrounding account structure: profile, blog, and settings. The wireframes prioritized one fast path from scan to verdict, pushing ingredient-level detail one tap deeper so the main result card stays scannable at a glance.

Design System
We built the interface on Work Sans (Regular, Medium, SemiBold across an 11–40px scale) and a compact color system: a near-black and gray core paired with three signal colors — red, orange, and green — that carry the risk rating through every screen, from the score slider to the Good/Poor/Bad product tags. Layout runs on a 4-column grid (20px margin, 16px gutter), with reusable components — buttons in default/pressed/disabled states, nav bar variants, product cards, toggles — built with every interaction state defined up front, so new screens stay visually consistent as the product grows.
